Marshalls Garden Mangetout Pea Seeds 'Delikata' give you the best of both worlds: delicious flat mangetout pods early in the season and sweet, wrinkle-seeded shelled peas later on, with the variety recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. Sow directly in well-drained, fertile, moisture-retentive soil from early spring (April to June), placing seeds 5cm deep and 7–8cm apart, with rows 60cm apart; provide pea sticks, netting or a trellis for support. Water regularly, especially during flowering, and start feeding when flowers appear—use a high-potash liquid feed every two weeks or a granular fertiliser monthly, watered in at the base. Each packet contains around 200 seeds and clear sowing and care instructions, and with routine feeding and regular picking you can expect a high yield of pods throughout the June to September season.
