Description

Marshalls Garden Pea Seeds 'Ruselargo' is a vigorous maincrop pea that produces plentiful pods of sweet, juicy peas with good resistance to powdery and downy mildew. Sow outdoors March to June in a flat-bottomed trench 5cm (2in) deep and 20cm (8in) wide; water the trench, sow seeds 7.5cm (3in) apart and backfill, allowing 60cm (24in) between rows. Plants grow to around 70cm and benefit from netting or pea sticks for support. Keep soil moist, especially during dry spells, and use netting to protect crops from birds and moths.
