Description

Marshalls Garden 'Rocket' seed potatoes are a first-early variety prized for uniform, oval, unblemished tubers and quick maturity. Ready for early harvest from May, 'Rocket' gives high yields, stores well and is resistant to potato cyst nematode, blackleg and splitting. Pack contains approximately 12-15 seed tubers (1kg). Growing tips: chit tubers in a cool, bright spot at about 7°C until shoots reach ~2.5cm. Plant 10cm deep—early varieties 30cm apart in rows 45cm apart—then earth up to 20cm when shoots appear. Water during dry periods, feed with a potato fertiliser if desired, and consider covering rows with black polythene as an alternative to earthing up. Enjoy earlier, uniform harvests and salad-ready potatoes.
