Organic Mung Beans Organic Mung Beans are organically grown and packed in Sussex, and they can be cooked or sprouted. Cooked, they have a nutty flavour and a texture similar to lentils, and they are easy to add to soups and salads. Simmer them in boiling water for about 30 minutes until tender, or for 40 to 50 minutes if you want them soft enough to start breaking down; a pressure cooker takes 10 to 15 minutes.
