Organic Chickpeas Organic Chickpeas are plain dried chickpeas, packed in Sussex, with a mild, nutty flavour. They are a mainstay of Mediterranean, North African and Indian cooking and the main ingredient of hummus, a creamy dip of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, oil and lemon juice. Use them in curries, dals, soups and salads, or stew them with chicken or fish. Cooked chickpeas also make an easy side dish mixed with couscous or small grains such as quinoa or amaranth, then dressed with oil and spices.
