Preparation and Usage

Rest the joint to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.

Instructions: Add a little oil to a frying pan and heat until very hot. Add the lamb and brown evenly on all side for 2-4 minutes.PAN FRY - 2-4 minsOnce browned place in a roasting tray and cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven (200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6) for 8 minutes per 100g (medium) or 9 minutes per 100g (well done). During cooking baste occasionally with the cooking juices.OVEN - 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 68 mins per 100g Medium10 mins per 100g Well DoneWhen cooked remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil and rest for 10 minutes. To serve remove bands and carve.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
