Upgrade your snack game with this healthy garlic and butter bean dip that's made extra creamy with Greek-style yogurt. Add a little zing of lemon, and serve with your favourite vegetable crudités or crisps for dunking.

Ingredients

  • 210g tin butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp 0% fat Greek-style yogurt
  • 1 carrot, cut into batons
  • 1 wholemeal pitta, toasted and sliced

Method

  1. Blitz the butter beans, garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice and the yogurt in a blender until smooth.
  2. Taste and season, adding a splash more lemon juice if needed.
  3. Serve with the carrot batons and toasted pitta for dipping.

      You can make the dip the day before and store in an airtight container in the fridge until you're ready to eat.
