Closing an account for someone who has died

If a family member who has a Clubcard dies, we can help. Contact our Clubcard team or fill in this short account closure form.

If they had a Clubcard Christmas Savers account, call us on 0800 591 688. You’ll need evidence of the death, such as a Grant of Probate or Grant of Representation. These show that you’re a beneficiary of the deceased.

Any money due is held in a trust for the beneficiary, and will be part of their estate.
