If your Marketplace return was not accepted, the seller will contact you to explain why.
Common reasons a return may not be accepted:
- Your return reason doesn’t match the product’s condition. For example, a faulty product returned due to a ‘change of mind’.
- The product isn’t in a resaleable condition.
- The returns window has passed.
- An incorrect or incomplete item was returned.
Incorrect returns:
Make sure all parts, labels, and packaging are included when you return a product. If you’ve accidentally sent the wrong item to a Marketplace seller, contact them as soon as possible.

Tesco and Marketplace sellers aren’t responsible for the safe return of incorrect items.
We can’t compensate you for incorrectly returned items.
