What you can't collect Clubcard points on

Published 28 February, 2024Updated 2 May, 2025

You can't collect Clubcard points on some products due to various legal, regulatory, or contractual reasons. These products include tobacco or tobacco-related products, lottery tickets, stamps, prescription medicines, infant formula milk, Tesco gift cards, 3rd party gift cards, saving stamps, in-store concessions, PayPoint payments, or purchases of some Tesco Bank products. Other products may also be excluded at the discretion of Tesco.

Since 20 April 2020, you can no longer collect Clubcard points on the value of Clubcard vouchers and money-off coupons.

Due to a legislation change from 6 April, customers will no longer be able to collect Clubcard points when purchasing alcohol in Northern Ireland.
