Description

Alstroemeria 'Inticancha Paraiso' produces masses of velvety deep purple, trumpet-shaped blooms from early summer to the first frosts, flowering abundantly from June to September. Compact, bushy plants reach about 75cm, suit patio pots and borders, and make excellent cut flowers. Prefers full sun and well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with a pH of 6.0–7.5, planted between March and October. Grown in the United Kingdom, supplied as plug tray in a box.

Product Care InstructionsRemove from packaging immediately on delivery. Soak the plug in a shallow dish of water for a few minutes. Pot on immediately or within 1–2 days, keeping the plug indoors in a warm, sunny place and ensuring the compost does not dry out. Turn the plugs as they grow towards the light. When potting on, lift by the leaves (not the stem) and plant so the seedling leaves are still proud of the surface. Tap to settle the compost and water well. Once the plants reach approx 15cm (6in) tall, harden off by placing outdoors during the day and back undercover at night for about a week before planting out in their final location.
