Description

Tall, airy perennial with masses of violet-purple blooms, Verbena 'Buenos Aires' provides long-lasting colour from summer to autumn. Supplied as jumbo plugs, standard plugs or 9cm plants, it thrives in sunny, well-drained soil and reaches about 2.5m in height. Low-maintenance and hardy, this variety is highly attractive to bees and butterflies and suits borders, prairie-style schemes and wildlife gardens. Easy to grow, its slender stems and compact flower clusters add height and movement without overwhelming neighbouring plants.
