Description

Three garlic chive (Allium tuberosum) plug plants, producing aromatic garlic-onion leaves and white star-shaped flowers, ideal for Japanese and Chinese cooking. Perennial, grows to about 30 cm, prefers well-draining, organic-rich soil and partial sun, best planted April to June.

Product Care InstructionsPrepare well-draining soil rich in organic matter. For outdoor planting, amend soil with compost; for containers, use a quality potting mix. Plant plugs straight into their final position or pot. Space plants 6–8 inches apart. Water to keep soil moist but not waterlogged; water at the base to keep leaves dry. Provide 4–6 hours of direct sunlight per day (full sun to part shade). Fertilise sparingly (about once a month) during the growing season with a balanced slow-release fertiliser or organic options like compost or fish emulsion. Protect from frost if necessary.
