Description

Introducing Squash 'Orangita' Mini Pumpkins, an attractive and productive variety perfect for adding both flavour and visual appeal to your garden. How to Grow: - Sow seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost, or direct sow after the last frost has passed. - Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a location that receives full sun. - Space plants 60-90cm apart to allow for healthy semi-bush growth. - Water consistently, especially during dry spells, and consider mulching to retain soil moisture. - Feed periodically with a general-purpose fertiliser to promote strong growth and fruit development. - Harvest between August and October when the pumpkins are fully coloured and have firm skin. These semi-bush plants will produce approximately 5-6 flattened, round mini pumpkins per plant, each displaying a vibrant orange hue and distinct ribbing. The 'Orangita' variety is celebrated for its delightful sweet, buttery taste and rich antioxidant content, making them ideal for seasonal cooking, decorative autumn displays, or simply adding a cheerful splash of colour to your garden space. This variety also exhibits a degree of resistance to powdery mildew, aiding in the protection against common fungal diseases.
