Kanosuke - Single Malt Japanese Whisky

Kanosuke Distillery is located in Hioki, Kagoshima Province, the southernmost point of mainland Japan, along the coast of Fukiagehama, one of Japan's three largest sand dunes.

Kanosuke distillery commenced operations in 2017.  The unusual aspect of Kanosuke is that it uses three pot stills (instead of the more normal two stills).  This allows Kanosuke to produce different flavoured spirit as a result of different lyne arm angles.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Tortoishell candy.

Nose: Honey, banana, lemon tea, caramel.

Taste: Quince candy, cinammon, ginger, subtle smoked nuts.

Finish: Elegant sweetness and bitterness that lingers for a long time.
