Irish Spot - Blue, Red, Green & Yellow Bundle Irish Whiskey (4 x 70cl)

The Spot Whiskey collection from the mighty Midleton distillery featuring the following Whiskies from their range:

Green Spot - Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey:

Nose: Yellow plums, oily aromatic spice, caramelised banana, candied tropical fruit, mint leaf and vanilla.

Palate: Banana toffee, sweet spice, minty chocolate and quite a fat and chewy body.

Finish: Spicy, toasted oak, aromatic yellow plums, vanilla wood.

Yellow Spot - Single Pot Still Irish 12 year old Whiskey:

Nose: Stone fruit heavy upfront with peach, apricot, plum paired with soft vanilla

Palate: Fruitier still with sherry providing a rich, warming mouthfeel.

Finish: Sweet and velvety smooth

Red Spot - Single Pot Still Irish 15 year old Whiskey:

Nose: Pot Still spices with rich cooked fruit, baked apple, mango and black cherry. Hazelnut and a touch of new leather fuse with toasted American oak.

Taste: A mix of ripe fruit sweetness from the Marsala seasoned wine casks. While the fruit remains, sweet red pepper and cracked black pepper and some spiciness, finished by notes of American oak and barley.

Finish: An extra long infusion of fruit and spices.

Blue Spot - Cask Strength Single Irish Pot Still 7 year old Whiskey:

Nose: A light mix of pineapple, kiwi, green banana and lime zest followed by Pot Still spices, baked apple, hazelnut and toasted wood.

Taste: A smooth mouthfeel with a subtle mix of fruit, a hint of clove oil and cracked black pepper corns. Sweet spices, vanilla and cinnamon add to the wood's nutty contribution.

Finish: A lasting and distinctly palatable balance of exotic fruits and spices.
