Description

Marshalls Garden Chamaerops Humilis is the only palm native to Europe, featuring large fan-shaped leaves that provide year-round interest in borders and containers. Slow-growing and tough, this evergreen copes with exposed locations, drought and partial shade. Best planted in well-drained, sandy or gritty soil (slightly acidic to neutral preferred) and positioned in partial sun. Supplied as a 3L tree with an expected mature height of around 3m. Water regularly during the first year, soak bare roots before planting if applicable, and add mulch in spring to retain moisture and nourish roots.
