Description

Marshalls Garden Gaura Giggles Pink Shades produces abundant starry pink flowers on fine stems and provides a long summer display from June to October. Sow indoors on the surface of pre-watered seed compost, place in a propagator or bag at around 20C (68F) and expect germination in 3-6 weeks. Remove the lid or bag after germination and keep seedlings in cooler, brighter conditions, then transplant when sturdy. Gradually acclimate plants before planting out in full sun once the danger of frost has passed; allow 45cm between plants. Best grown in well-drained, sandy soil or good-quality container compost. Cut back hard in late winter and divide clumps every 2-3 years for continued vigour.
