Description

Dessert-style blackcurrant with naturally sweet, juicy berries up to 18mm in diameter. 'Ebony' ripens early, often from early July, and the moderately vigorous, open bushes make harvesting easy. Low-maintenance and versatile—great for fresh eating, pies, puddings or preserves. Prefers full sun and fertile, well-drained soil (pH 6.0–7.0); plant December to April and expect growth to about 1.2 m.
