Description

Marshalls Garden Blackberry 'Chester Thornless' produces heavy crops of very sweet, full-flavoured berries ideal for puddings, pies and jams. This late-season variety fruits from mid-August through to the first frosts, extending your harvest into autumn. Thornless canes make harvesting easy, and the tough, hardy plants show good disease resistance and grow well even in heavy soils. Supplied as 1 x 2L plant; plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil (pH 5.5–7.0) between February and November, and expect plants to reach about 2 m when mature.
