Description

Marshalls Garden Oca (Oxalis tuberosa), also called Yam or New Zealand Yam, produces small, crunchy underground tubers that can be eaten raw for a lemony flavour or cooked for a nuttier taste. Originating from the South American Andes, this blight-resistant plant copes well in shallow and poor soils, making it suitable for pots, patios, greenhouses and small vegetable plots. Each pack contains 5 tubers. Harvest approximately three weeks after the first frost has killed the foliage, typically in late November or December.
