Description

Marshalls Garden Cucumber Seeds 'Tasty King' (10 seeds) produce some of the longest, best-tasting cucumbers with thin skins and easy-to-digest flesh. This early, heavy-yielding F1 hybrid performs well in greenhouses or outdoors and suits pots, patios, raised beds and vegetable plots. Sow indoors from April into quality seed compost with about 25% vermiculite, or direct sow from late May to June when soil is warm; harden off plants for 7–14 days before transplanting. Space plants about 45cm apart, allow vines to reach approximately 1.8m, and harvest regularly by cutting to promote continuous cropping; companion plants such as marigolds, nasturtiums or radishes can help deter pests.
