Description

A space-saving collection of 15 bare-root strawberry plants from Marshalls Garden, selected for large fruits, high yields and staggered cropping to extend the picking season. You can expect about half a punnet per plant in the first year and a full punnet in the next two years, making this an excellent value collection. Varieties: Marshmello (mid season: mid June to mid July) is exceptionally sweet with good resistance to Verticillium wilt and crown rot; Malwina (late: mid July to mid August) produces glossy, high-sugar fruits on short stems, with mildew resistance and tolerance to Verticillium and Red Core; Elsanta (main season: mid June to mid July) is a dependable garden favourite, suited to all soils but performing best in lighter, sandy soils. Care: remove plants from packaging, keep plugs moist and cool if not planting immediately, and soak bare roots before planting. Ideal for pots, patios, small gardens, borders and raised beds.
