Description

Elstar produces a heavy, regular crop of greenish-yellow fruit flushed with red, offering a sweet-sharp balance and a honeyed, crisp texture perfect for eating or juicing. Grown on dwarfing roots to limit mature height to around 1.2m (4 ft), this 2L, two-year-old patio tree is ideal for beds, large pots and patios where fruit is easy to pick. For reliable fruit set, plant with a compatible pollinator in flowering group 3 and situate near other fruiting plants to improve pollination. Suitable for pots, patios, cottage and wildlife gardens.
