Description

Marshalls Garden Spinach 'America' seeds (500 seeds). A high-yielding, bolt-resistant variety producing thick, dark green crinkly leaves that are tender and well-flavoured. Pick young for baby-leaf salads or allow to mature for steaming; leaves are ideal for freezing. Sow outdoors March–September: sow thinly 1cm (1/2in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart in harvest position; plant out in May and thin to 10cm (4in) if necessary. Keep soil moist at all times and pick leaves regularly to ensure a continuous supply. Approximately 2 months plot to plate. Suitable for pots, patio, small gardens, borders, raised beds and vegetable plots.
