Description

Marshalls Garden Beetroot Seeds 'Boltardy' produce sweet, tender, deep-red roots with smooth skin and excellent flavour. Bolt-resistant and ideal for early sowing, this reliable variety can be sown close together for tender baby beets, while the young leaves are great in salads. Sow outdoors from spring to mid-summer in fertile soil, 3 cm deep with rows about 30 cm apart; thin multigerm seedlings to 10 cm or leave monogerm seeds to grow without thinning. Low-maintenance and versatile for roasting, pickling or fresh salads, 'Boltardy' delivers high yields from summer into autumn.
