Description

Lodero F1 from Marshalls Garden is a maincrop red cabbage hybrid offering the first club root resistance in a red variety, crisp flavour and strong, firm heads. Each pack contains 20 seeds. Sow indoors in modules or sow/transplant outside 1cm deep, spacing plants and rows 45cm apart; harden off seedlings over 7–14 days before planting out. Use brassica collars to deter root fly and netting to protect from birds and caterpillars. Harvest mature heads for vibrant coleslaws, pickling or cooking, and store well through winter when kept firm and dry.
