Rose oil requires thousands of petals to make a few drops, which is why this oil is blended with organic sunflower oil [Helianthus annus] in order to make this an affordable flavouring. The rose flavour is highly concentrated so only one or two drops are required in cooking.For the curious, the word "otto" means that the oil is extracted via distillation rather than using alcohol or other solvents. This results in a much purer oil.
