Excessive debris gathering can lead to a deprivation of oxygen in the water, this negatively impacts the health and well-being of pond fish and plants. This AquaForte skimmer can be added simply to your pond by connecting it to the pond pump, without interfering with the existing set up. An easy to install pond maintenance feature, the skimmer functions alongside your pond pump to circulate water and capture the unwanted debris.The skimmer is designed to be connected to external pond pumps. It is recommended for use with pumps with a flow rate up to 4500 litres per hour. This skimmer is the ideal choice for maintaining medium sized ponds.This skimmer can be connected to your pond pump either by the included stepped hosetail nozzle, or by a 1.5 inch male BSP connector. Your hose can be simply slid onto the stepped nozzle until it is securely attached and fitted. The use of this is optional as the skimmer can also be connected simply to your hose via the 1.5” BSP connection.The fixed foot provides additional stability to the skimmer in its standing form. This base is designed to be filled up with stones, the weight of this ensures that the skimmer is kept standing securely in a position and placement of your preference, adapting to any uneven pond floors.If your pond is deeper than 88cm, you can use an improvised platform in the bottom of your pond to raise the skimmer to surface level.
