Paul John - Mithuna Indian Single Malt Whisky Rated as one of the three best new whiskies on the planet, scoring 97 out of 100, by whisky guru Jim Murray in 2021.Mithuna is the new jewel in the crown of Indian distillery, Paul John. The second from their Zodiac range, Mithuna, named after the Indian counterpart of Gemini, is matured in first-fill American virgin oak and then finished in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. A truly exceptional dram bottled in 2020 to 58% ABV expect aroma notes of tropical fruits, honey, sandalwood and toasted oak followed by a thick, oily palate laden with stoned fruits, oak spices, cocoa and milk chai. The finish is long lingering, dry and intense with subtle sweetness.
