Tamdhu - Infrequent Flyers - Single Cask #800069 2013 10 year old Whisky Nose: Somewhat funky. Initially earthy, almost savoury aromas, with balsamic notes, and then the fruit comes - raisins, apricots and baked apples.Taste: Quite evidently from a PX cask… Super sweet, with Demerara sugar, crème brûlée, molten dark brown toffee and rich honeycomb. This is complemented with semi-sweet dark chocolate and marinated sultanas. Pretty spicy to boot, with cinnamon and nutmeg.
