Black & Gold 11 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey A fresh perspective on bitters, ’s was aged in slowly-charred barrels, and it was that charring that helped to introduce brilliantly bold layers of brown sugar, decadent vanilla and rich cigar box. Black & Gold is a particularly snazzy bourbon which has enjoyed 11 years of maturation, allowing it to develop a rewarding, complex and overall excellent flavor profile. As the bottle says, "Fire created it good". The casks were hand-selected, and it's fairly clear why they were picked - this bourbon is spectacular indeed. The bottle also happens to be incredibly handsome too, which is always a bonus.
