Glen Grant - Xtra Old Particular Single Cask #17784 1998 25 year old Whisky Tasting notes:Opens in a robust archetypal Speyside style with hues of citrus fruit plus mixed unsalted nuts, barley and later autumnal fruit. Subtle oak on the palate as it opens, now with a little cheek- puckering saltiness, ahead of butterscotch, cherry and marzipan flavours, dusted with icing sugar – all of which lead to a finish carrying more macerated, red fruit mixed amongst attractive cereal and spices.
