Tomintoul - Small Batch Tempranillo Wine Cask Finish Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks, which are then married & finished in hand selected Tempranillo wine barrels sourced from Spain. Nose: A bouquet of strawberry jam, cinder toffee, syrup sponge cake and cooked fruits with vanilla and chamomile. Palate: A wash of mixed berry compote, brandy snap biscuits and custard pastries married with white pepper, toasted oak and cappuccino coffee. Finish: Cosy impressions of dark chocolate, raspberry and stem ginger fading into an espresso and roast chestnut linger. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
