Wolfburn - Oloroso Sherry Cask Single Malt Scotch 10 year old Whisky Situated on Scotland's rugged north coast, the Wolfburn distillery was first established in 1821, rapidly becoming the largest distillery in Caithness. Today Wolfburns master craftsmen fasion their whisky the same way it was always made; by hand using only the finest ingredients and without haste. Distilled matured and bottled on site at Wolfburn DistilleryAged for over ten years in the finest Spanish oak casks, Wolfburns signature malt has been imbued with sweet Oloroso sherry notes, giving this whisky a real depth of character and flavour. A whisky of poise and finesse, gently matured in Wolfburns warehouse by the sea, it is testament to the skill, dedication and patience of Wolfburn master distillers.Tasting Notes: On the nose, soft sherry sweetness melds withfigs and raisins, but its on the palate where the true depth of flavour shines of caramel and vanilla, all accompanied by gentle hints of nutmeg and oak smoke, silky tannins make for a beautifully textured finish.
