This 15 year old expression from Dalwhinnie is no exception, a light crisp and easy single malt with strong notes of nut, fruit and sweetness. The current 2004 vintage of the Distiller's Edition Dalwhinnie has been given an extra maturation period in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, imparting extra spice, fruit, and sweetness to this delicate highland single malt. Lovers of Dalwhinnie will appreciate the way the fragrance of Oloroso overlays, but doesn't mask, the heather honeyed character of the whisky. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
