Glenfarclas - The Family Casks #6028 1984 22 year old Whisky One of the original set of Family cask releases from the Glenfarclas range of rare and old single cask releases that go all the way back to whisky distilled in 1952 and first released in 2007. Distilled 28/11/1984 Bottled 28/2/2007 Aged for 22 years in a single Plain Hogshead Only 267 bottles released at natural cask strength 51.3% ABV A light gold whisky. This is Glenfarclas without sherry but this plain cask still has lots to offer. It has a beautifully fresh, light nose with notes of burnt wood, walnuts and a little vanilla. It is a very light whisky with no heavy flavours. Instead, experience the effect of lots of fruit dancing across your tongue-acting like little pins and needles of flavour. The finish is slow, gathering pace after a little time. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
