Mortlach - Private Collection - Single Cask #8254 1974 46 year old Whisky Personally selected by members of the Urquhart family that has owned Gordon & MacPhail for four generations, Private Collection whiskies are greatly-aged single malts from celebrated, little-known, or closed distilleries.Colour: AmberAroma: Sherry aromas are followed by brown sugar, rum and raisin, and warm spices.Taste: Sweet and smooth flavours of stewed, spiced damsons, with fig and apricot conserve, seville orange peel and charred oak.Finish: A long finish with sweet and spicy notes and lingering roasted hazelnuts.
