Laphroaig - Cairdeas - Quarter Cask - Feis Ile 2017 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky A 2017 limited release for the Feis Ile that is a cask strength version of the quarter cask release.Nose: Lots of salty lemon curd and vanillin smoke, some minerally and iodine notes, peppery pear drops, smoked cottage cheese, chalky, soft and creamy oak.Palate: Peppery lime curd, sooty vanilla,pear drops from rock pools, salty coconut fudge, seafood shells, star anise, oily green olive dressing.Finish: Salty green fruit, peppery vanilla, smoked kiwi, aniseed, drying into soapy/floral peat.A more intense hit of Laphroaig with the green fruit, spice and iodine turned to the max!
