Glendronach - Marsala Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch 18 year old Whisky A lip smacking Glendronach finished in sweet fortified Marsala wine casks from Sicily and another great limited edition release that is sure to sell out fast.Nose: Hazelnut puree, chocolate, praline, caramelised orchard fruits, aromatic spices, sugared almonds, ripe melon and ginger, sultana loaf.Palate: Mouthfilling and juicy delivery with honey and apricot flapjacks, peach melba, galia melon with ginger, spiced mocha, stewed apple and cinnamon, dusting of icing sugar.Finish: Aromatic honey on vanilla toast, sultanas soaked in pudding wine, grapey, rich barley, tarte tatin with vanilla custard. A pudding wine of a malt from Glendronach, one sip of this fat , juicy, sweet and grapey offering will have you wanting more.
