Macallan - Xtra Old Particular - The Black Series Single Cask #15149 1990 31 year old Whisky This XOP Black Single Malt from the Macallan Distillery has spent 31 long years maturing in a Sherry Hogshead. It was distilled in May 1990 and bottled in December 2021. Bottled at a natural Cask Strength of 42.3%, only 174 bottles exist globally.Nose: Spices with a sweet oak style giving way to caramel cream and barley sugar.Palate: A rich mocha, chocolate depth alongside warming baking spice, ginger biscuits and toffee.Finish: Long... detect a touch of citrus zest with more of that spiced quality and ripe plums.
