Bunnahabhain - Feis Ile 2022 - Abhainn Araig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky This velvety rich dram was created to celebrate Fèis Ìle 2022, the most important festival on Islay and within the Whisky community. Meaning Araig River in Scots Gaelic, this Limited Edition has been matured in ex-Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez octave casks, hand-selected to push the boundaries of sherry maturation. The result is a classic Bunnahabhain dram - bold, unpeated and sherried with a spicy cinnamon burst.Nose: Chocolate, powdered ginger and cigar box.Palate: a velvety rich texture , initially creamy milk chocolate then sweet raisins and dried raspberries. As the PX develops balsamic vinegar and honeyed macadamias come through.Finish: deep and rich , with dark toffee and a final spicy burst of cinnamon.
