The Panasonic KX TGM420EB is an amplified digital cordless phone designed to support clearer conversations. The handset offers volume adjustment up to 40 dB and is compatible with hearing aids. The base unit includes a loud ringer rated up to 100 dB, and both the handset and base feature red visual ringer indicators to help ensure incoming calls are not missed.Slow Talk mode allows speech to be slowed in real time to aid understanding during calls and message playback. A tone control button provides additional clarity with five levels and multiple custom options. Talking Caller ID announces stored names from the phonebook, and the keypad and phonebook entries can also be read aloud.The phone includes an answering machine, speakerphone, intercom and nuisance call blocking for unwanted numbers, country codes or dialling codes. It can be expanded to six handsets using the optional amplified handset model. The handset has a 1.8 inch white backlit display and illuminated keypad with large buttons for easier operation.Dimensions for the base unit are approximately 72 x 178 x 141 mm with a weight of around 480 g. The cordless handset measures approximately 189 x 58 x 43 mm and weighs about 210 g with its battery. The design is larger and easier to grip than standard cordless models to support convenient everyday use.
