Arran - Signature Series Edition 3 - Duero Discovery 12 year old Whisky The third installation in the Signature Series from Arran is a 12 year old single malt signed by Distillery Manager, Stewart Bowman. It was initially matured for 6 years in a first and second fill bourbon barrels and then transferred to a first fill Spanish red wine cask and matured for a further 6 years.Nose: Bright with caramelised fruit and hazelnuts. Slight note of salted caramel and zesty grapefruit rind.Palate: Full bodied, plenty of complex mouth feel. Oak forward with dark red berries and creamy vanilla. A little ginger, sweet spice and aniseed.
