- Includes a branded Glenfarclas Glencairn Tasting Glass
Quite rightly seen as a benchmark for well aged Sherry Cask matured whisky. Most distilleries scaled back production in the 1970's and 80's, but the Grant family had the foresight to keep the stills running. As a result, they have access to some of the best stocks of old whisky in the business, and are able to offer them at jaw droppingly reasonable prices.
Nose - Complex yet refined with tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts and some oaky tannins.
Palate - Full bodied and robust with the sherry and the oak fighting for dominace but neither overpowering the other.
Finish - Intense, long lasting, dry and malty. A beautiful dark chocolate taste at the back of your mouth completes a wonderful 25 year old whisky.
