Arran - Vintage Bottlers Single Cask #365 1996 27 year old Whisky This fine Whisky from Arran is not to be overlooked. It is every bit as rugged and welcoming as the charming island of its provenance. Easy-drinking perhaps, but still complex in its changing impression on the taste buds. Nose: Deep, intoxicating coal tar that quickly mellows into creamy fudge. Palate:The confectionary theme is continued with nutty toffee to the fore, with toasted oats making their presence felt. The considerable warmth has gently rounded edges. Finish: The finish slopes gently away, bearing caramelised brown sugar and dark berries. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
