Description

Highland Park - Limited Single Cask #3004 1989 33 year old Whisky A Highland Park from the late 80’s. Great distillate filled into a great cask and left to combine for over 33 years. The result is a masterpiece. Very rarely do we get as excited as we are to release this whisky and we are immensely proud to bring this single-cask expression to market.Nose: Brown sugar, toffee and salted pretzels with fruity notes and vanilla pods.Palate: Initially peppery on the tongue, but the fruit then comes through. Tropical fruits, heather honey, and a gentle wave of light peat smoke. Rich and oily mouthfeel.Finish: Medium-long with cinnamon and nutmeg spice, which slowly fade away. Citrus then comes to the fore for a satisfying conclusion.
