Royal Brackla - Wemyss Malts - Violet Tapestry Single Cask 2006 15 year old Whisky Distilled at Royal Brackla in 2006, this stunning bouquet of a Whisky was allowed to mature for 15 years. The single hogshead maturation has resulted in a beautifully silky and intensely floral dram, with notes of parma violets and jasmine. Tasting Notes: Nose: Intensely floral, with Parma Violet drops, jasmine and lemon peel Taste: Soft violet petals mingle with woody and resinous notes of juniper, pine and rosemary. Champagne cocktails with pink grapefruit juice and rose syrup. Finish: Fresh vegetal notes of dried mint, eucalyptus and coriander leaf are sweetened by lavender perfume and candied fennel seeds. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
