GlenAllachie - Cask Strength Batch #1 21 year old Whisky The GlenAllachie 21 year old cask strength, Batch 1. Working with Vintages from across 1997 and 1998, Master Distiller Billy Walker ultimately selected and married together 5 casks; a mouth-watering combination of Pedro Ximénez Puncheons and Hogsheads. Each individual cask adds its own unique influence, with the sum ultimately greater than its parts. Only 1,600 bottles are available worldwide. Colour: Intense Mahogany. Nose: Waves of dark chocolate, heather honey, mocha and orange zest, with notes of grapefruit and cinnamon. Taste: A rich mix of fruit cake, heather honey and treacle, fused with stewed plums, dark chocolate, orange peel, cinnamon and ginger. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
