Bunnahabhain - Wemyss Malts - Heather & Leather Single Cask 1987 31 year old Whisky Colour - Aged Bronze Nose - The nose conjures a highland wilderness with heather, gorse flowers and crisp autumn leaves. Old fashioned leather walking boots and wax jackets evoke a hike in the Scottish Highlands. Palate - The beginning flavour is a deep sweetness like honey and demerara flapjacks. Savoury flavours appear as meaty and almost leathery whilst herbal notes of caraway and dried rosemary appear. Finish - The finish has a gentle smoke like flavour derived from the wood tannins. Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
